Let the good times swing …
The Ace Of Spades was and will always be that most famous and well known Motörhead song ever. A few years ago (and long before Lemmy sadly passed away) I recorded my own – well – quite special version of this song using only my six string acoustic flying over an underlying swinging piece of rhythm. When we bring this song to stage nowadays we play the fast and loud original version, of course. But we use the swinging version as an intro to it which always leads to some surprised and smiling faces in the crowd.
P.S.: I’ve just learned that there is another blues version of this song around which was played by Lemmy himself.
